A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. Chase County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.

An email or other direct message may be retained for the time needed to answer it. The message remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

Chase County Criminal History does not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general instructions for reaching the Chase County Sheriff, the county and district court clerks, the Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not used to build consumer reports or third-party criminal files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is handled under that provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices rather than this policy. Review those terms before running a query because this site does not control a partner's data decisions.
